Idah Federal Constituency candidate urges loyalty, unity and strategic mobilisation ahead of 2027

Samuel Okai Agamah, ADP candidate for Idah, Igalamela, Ibaji and Ofu Federal Constituency, has charged party members and stakeholders to intensify grassroots mobilisation, remain united and prepare strategically for the 2027 general elections.

He gave the charge in Idah on Wednesday, October 1, during a strategic meeting with constituency stakeholders and party members held as part of activities marking Nigeria’s Independence Day.

He urged members to remain “loyal, dedicated and committed” to the ADP, stressing the importance of building a strong grassroots structure capable of driving the party’s political movement across the constituency.

The meeting was attended by Hon. Sunday Obaje, candidate for Idah State Constituency; Hon. Ibrahim Abdullahi, Presidential Campaign Director for Idah LGA; Alhaji Iyamo, an ADP stalwart, and other party stakeholders.

He said the meeting provided an opportunity to deliberate on strategic positioning and practical steps towards strengthening the movement, adding that the party was working on plans and modalities for the forthcoming elections.

He also disclosed that he was “mapping my campaign strategies with critical stakeholders,” assuring that the details would be unveiled soon.

Speaking on the significance of Independence Day, Samuel called on Nigerians and his supporters to promote “peace, love and oneness”, noting that unity and collective commitment are important to societal progress.

He further stated, “Nigeria can be great again if the right people are elected into power,” explaining that this belief was part of the reason he accepted the call to seek election to the Green Chamber.

Earlier, Samuel had joined the family of late Mallam Yahaya Addo, a respected beaded Chief in Onah, Idah, to mourn the deceased, who passed away after a brief illness.

He described the late chief as “a father figure and a worthy statesman to the core,” while commending his contributions to agriculture and employment through his commercial farming activities in Igala land.

The ADP candidate's Idah engagements underline his ongoing consultations with stakeholders and efforts to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 elections.
