Applicants urged to complete pending registrations as CDIPB pledges a transparent and seamless process
The online recruitment portal for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Immigration Service, and other paramilitary agencies has been restored after a temporary suspension caused by technical glitches.
The Civil Defence, Immigration and Prisons Service Board (CDIPB) made the announcement on Sunday night, urging applicants who had already begun their applications to return and complete the process starting Monday, July 21, 2025.
The board acknowledged that the platform had experienced disruptions due to an overwhelming volume of users, which led to widespread complaints from applicants unable to complete their submissions.
On July 17, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) temporarily shut down the recruitment portal, citing the need to upgrade its performance and ensure a more efficient user experience.
In a statement, the CDCFIB appreciated the patriotic interest shown by thousands of young Nigerians eager to serve their nation. It reassured the public of its commitment to a fair, transparent, and equitable recruitment process.
The agency apologized for the inconvenience caused and emphasized that the portal enhancement was necessary to accommodate all eligible applicants without compromising the integrity of the process.
Applicants are now encouraged to promptly revisit the portal to finalize their registrations, as the board reaffirms its readiness to carry out a smooth and inclusive recruitment exercise.
