Oweizide Ekpemupolo Door-2-Door movement declares unwavering support for President Tinubu and APC’s new leadership under Prof. Yilwatda, pledges massive grassroots mobilisation across Nigeria.
A Niger Delta grassroots political movement, Door-2-Door, has pledged to mobilise and deliver 10 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. The group made the declaration on Monday in Warri, Delta State, reaffirming its uncompromising commitment to ensuring President Tinubu secures a second term in office.
Founded by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, the Ibe-Ebidouwei of Ijaw Nation and Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, the group is positioning itself as a major force in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.
Speaking through a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Sunday Adekanbi, the movement described its re-election drive as part of a broader strategy to consolidate the gains of the current administration. “As espoused by our Grand Patron, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, Door-2-Door as a grassroots political movement is unequivocally committed to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” the statement read. “Our resolve to mobilise and secure 10 million votes for Mr. President is firm and cannot be compromised.”
The group also extended its support to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and commended the party’s National Executive Committee for electing Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda as its new national chairman.
Describing the new APC chairman as “a square peg in a square hole,” the group praised Prof. Yilwatda’s wealth of experience in governance, political strategy, and public service, expressing confidence in his capacity to lead the party to greater heights. “Through decades of distinguished service, Prof. Yilwatda has demonstrated extraordinary talent and political insight. His leadership will be pivotal as the APC prepares to overcome challenges and consolidate its position nationwide,” the group stated.
It further affirmed its belief that Prof. Yilwatda’s intellectual rigour and leadership charisma would amplify grassroots support and unify Nigerians behind the party’s agenda. “As Nigeria moves closer to the 2027 elections, Door-2-Door, under the leadership of High Chief Tompolo, pledges unwavering support to both President Tinubu and Prof. Yilwatda. We are confident in their ability to bring hope, progress, and inclusive development to all Nigerians,” the statement concluded.
